- the new EP by boston’s ‘a hero next door‘ is done. mastered and ready for biz. thanks guys for having me work with you on it. i had the pleasure of co-producing the EP with the boys while i engineered, mixed and mastered it. should have one up on my examples page today.
-the ‘common thrill‘ mixes are all in first stage. we’re meeting this week to do final tweaks. mastering will be done in the coming weeks. stellar band, stellar EP on the way.
- work continues on the ‘alchemilla‘ full length. drums, bass and electric guitars are done on the 2nd batch of four. we’re finishing lead vocals and then adding backup vocals, percussion and any other final dubs in the next two weeks. immediately after that, we start the next batch of four, which will be make a total of twelve for their new LP.
- rehearsing this week with the boston based band ’shadwell’. playing drums on a gig with them in september. it’s a video shoot for a television appearance here in the boston area. played on their record a few years ago, which was produced by my friend tom polce. great guys playing great songs.
- and finally, happy to report some progress on my band’s new one. bass guitar is being tracked this week with matt tahaney playing.
